Hannas - the story so far

In 1990 Johanna Salminen founded a small interiors shop in one of the idyllic wooden houses of historical Old Rauma. With a creative and courageous nature allied Johanna began to design products for her own shop, which were noticed not just locally but across Finland.

Hannas was established in 1995 and since then Johanna and her sister Kati Vuorela have worked side by side to make dreams come true. From photograph frames and framed pictures, the collection has rapidly increased during Hannas´ first decade. The majority of products are sold in the Nordic countries; some have found their way as far as Japan.

In 2002, with the opening of the hannas shop the circle was closed. Located in Rauma, it might be called the soul of hannas. The shop has been in Katis´ hands since its early days and has become a lifestyle, showcase with its own very special atmosphere - Certainly worth a visit!

Kati took over the ownership of hannas in 2008 with Johanna continuing her unique work in design the sisters complementing each other in their work. Recently, hannas has begun to undertake domestic interior design projects, an exciting yet natural development. Hannas is of today and yet timeless, providing lasting quality and style.
